What is an Induction Range or Cook Top?

An induction range is different to a gas or electric range or cook top. It is energy efficient and it uses magnetic fields which work to heat up your pans. The induction range surface is flat and much safer to use than any other type of cook top. The most impressive thing about the induction range is that the cook top stays cool while the cookware heats up.

Benefits of Induction Ranges or Cooktops

There are three main benefits to utilizing induction cooking technology in your commercial or residential kitchen. The first benefit induction cooking has to offer is the technology is more efficient to other electric or gas alternative cooking methods. The energy it takes to heat the cookware is focused more on the cookware than in heating the surrounding areas of the range or even emitting heat into the kitchen environment. The second benefit to utilizing induction cooking is that the equipment heats pans very quickly, again making the cooking process more efficient. Lastly, the third benefit to using an induction range is that the cook surface ALWAYS stays cool and is very easy to clean.
